Exercise is an integral part of dealing with Spondylitis. Fitting exercise into a busy day, especially when you’re hurting, can be tough, but it is important and needs to be done. Exercise and stretching are such high priorities that people with Spondylitis should make time for it each day. (Even 5-10 minutes during a work break is helpful.)
A Spondylitis exercise program will help a "Spondy" maintain good posture, flexibility and eventually help to lessen their pain. Friends and family can help by encouraging people they know with AS to stretch and exercise regularly.
